Benefits are plenty when it comes to getting in shape. And there absolutely no question about it. If I can put it in segregations I can go on. But I can give you a consolidated picture as to what losing weight can give you. The number one factor would be the quality of your life. You will constantly look for better healthy options. Not just in food but also in other areas. Self-respect will sky rocket. People eat crappy food could be because they are not aware of the damage. Perhaps they don’t respect themselves enough to not do that. But they give in. Temptations, cravings etc are poor and mediocre excuses one could possibly give. Don’t you think?


HEALTH:

The number one single most benefit that you can reap out of sowing the seed of getting in shape is the absolute health. Our body is the only place where we have to live this life. And if we don’t take care of this beautiful thing we have, then I think we’re taking the life for granted. Agree with me?

The new age diseases are caused due to the new age lifestyle. Even the traditional 3 meals a day BREAKFAST-LUNCH-DINNER and sleeping for 7–8 hours was invented to suit the daily requirements and demands. Our body is not a mechanism to be operated in a condition like that. Sleeping should be on intervals. But that’s not the topic we’re dealing with right now.


Heart Disease — When you start losing weight, you lose the load that your blood carries to your heart. Think of it this way. Climbing a hill carrying a load non-stop. Cause obviously your heart cannot rest cause the load is too much. Or can it?


Diabetes — This is another epidemic which is already on the rise. Eating too much sugar can cause weight gain — ground rule. Obesity is a risk factor for type 2 diabetes. That means Diabetes is a condition having abnormally high levels of sugar in your blood. In other words, It’s glucose in the blood. When it shoots after certain types of foods, that will cause a hormone to spike. It’s called Insulin that is produced by the pancreas. The function of this is to lower blood sugar carried to other areas of the body.


Metabolic Syndrome — Your human body leads to a multiple-conditions that occur together. Increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke or type 2 diabetes and increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels.


This is another lifestyle complication and it is increasingly getting common. The problem is that most of the disorders associated with metabolic syndrome will not show you signs of it. That makes the problem worse. One common sign that is particularly visible is — Well — yeah you guessed it. Getting fat. Waist increasing in size A.K.A large waist circumference. Metabolic syndrome leads to overweight or obesity.


LOOKS

We all want to look great. We all want feel confident. Have you ever experienced just by putting on your favourite cloth, your mood just shifts and start to feel great? Just the way if a piece of a cloth can makes that radical shift in your mood, imagine what a fit body can give you.

Anyway, losing weight (FAT) is a good thing and your body will thank you. Let me start by explaining this. When I was fat, I never felt good when I’m waking up. But when you are ripped and have abs, you wake up so light. The body feels like feather. Always gives an extra edge to the motivation. That’s why results play a very important when it comes to motivation. When the motivation kicks in, your work ethics will sky rocket.

By looks I mean a lot of things that I’d like to include. Like Abs/6/8 Packs, Guns, Bikini Bod, Summer Bod, fitting clothes etc. in other words, it’s your Body image or Body Shape can make you feel super awesome. You feel younger and look younger.


YOUR WHY

The real reasons as to why you should lose that ugly FAT is “YOUR WHY”. You need to have a reason. A strong reason as to why you want to lose weight or look good. Regardless of how silly it could be or how reasonable it is. As long as it makes sense to you, that’s all it matters.

Find your inner WHY. Back then when I started off, it was recognition. People at my work started recognizing. I was a “All Eating Heavy Drinking PIG” and that’s how people have seen me. But the difference I had when I got in shape and the difference I experienced when people started talking to me differently. Oh man. I gotta tell you.

Your why should speak your vision. And that alone will make you jump out of the bed to pursue with your goals. Rather than giving poor little excuses like oh it’s too cold outside. You feel me?
